The NF98 series adopts a proprietary multilayer composite membrane and nano-level, ultra-thin hydrophilic coating technology. This innovative design offers outstanding anti-fouling performance and twice the flux of leading international brands, while operating at least 50% lower pressure. Its superior performance makes it an ideal replacement for traditional TFC membranes such as NF270, XC-N, DL, DK, and more.

1. The NF98 membrane boasts a super hydrophilic surface, delivering exceptional anti-fouling performance and extended lifespan.
2. The product flux of the NF98 is typically 30% higher than traditional TFCs, with some types even doubling the flux. Energy consumption is significantly reduced.
3. It achieves a rejection rate of over 98% for high monovalent salt (e.g., magnesium sulfate, iron, heavy metals), while allowing monovalent salts to pass through.
4. It has a high rejection rate for organic compounds, including pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, and THM precursors.

What is Nanofiltration?

Nanofiltration is a specialized membrane process that rejects dissolved solutes in the approximate size range of 1 nanometer (10 Angstroms) - hence the term 'nanofiltration.'

With respect to the size and weight of solutes that nanofiltration membranes reject, NF operates in the realm betweenreverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF): Organic molecules with molecular weights greater than 200-400 are rejected. Nanofiltration membranes can effectively reject the following contaminants:

• Dissolved organics.
• Endotoxins/pyrogens.
• Insecticides/pesticides.
• Herbicides.
• Antibiotics.
• Nitrates.
• Sugars.
• Latex emulsions.
• Metal ions.
