NF98 Series Nanofiltration Membrane ElementThe NF98 series features our proprietary multilayer composite membrane along with a nano-level, ultra-thin hydrophilic coating technology. This advanced design offers superior anti-fouling performance while delivering flux rates that are twice as high as leading international brands. Additionally, it operates at least 50% lower pressure. This comprehensive performance makes it an ideal replacement for traditional TFC membranes like NF270, XC-N, DL, DK, and more.

1. The NF98 membrane boasts a highly hydrophilic surface for exceptional anti-fouling performance and extended lifespan.
2. The NF98 product flux is typically 30% higher than traditional TFC membranes, with some types achieving up to double the flux, significantly reducing energy consumption.
3. Achieves over 98% rejection rate of high monovalent salts (e.g., magnesium sulfate, iron, heavy metals) while allowing monovalent salts to pass through.
4. High rejection rate of organic compounds including pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, and THM precursors.
 
What is Nanofiltration?

Nanofiltration is a specialized membrane process that rejects dissolved solutes approximately 1 nanometer (10 Angstroms) in size-hence the term 'nanofiltration'.

In terms of solute size and weight rejection, nanofiltration operates betweenreverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF). :Organic molecules with molecular weights greater than 200-400 are rejected. Nanofiltration membranes can effectively reject various contaminants, including:

  • Dissolved organics,
  • Endotoxins/pyrogens,
  • Insecticides/pesticides,
  • Herbicides,
  • Antibiotics,
  • Nitrates,
  • Sugars,
  • Latex emulsions,
  • Metal ions.
