Product Description

Product Description

High Flux Industrial Nanofiltration Membrane Element

NF98 Series Nanofiltration Membrane ElementThe NF98 series nanofiltration membrane element employs a cutting-edge proprietary multilayer composite membrane. Featuring nano-level, ultra-thin hydrophilic coating technology, it ensures unparalleled anti-fouling performance. Remarkably, its flux is twice as high as leading international brands, and it operates at a minimum of 50% lower pressure. This robust performance allows it to seamlessly replace traditional TFC membranes such as NF270, XC-N, DL, DK, and more.

1. The NF98 membrane boasts an exceptionally hydrophilic surface, superior anti-fouling capabilities, and an extended lifespan.
2. The NF98's product flux is generally 30% higher than conventional TFC membranes, with certain types achieving up to double the flux. Energy consumption is significantly reduced.
3. This membrane achieves a rejection rate exceeding 98% for high monovalent salts such as magnesium sulfate, iron, and heavy metals, while allowing monovalent salts to pass through.
4. It exhibits a high rejection rate for organic compounds, including pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, and THM precursors.

What is Nanofiltration?

Nanofiltration is a specialized membrane process capable of rejecting dissolved solutes within the approximate size range of 1 nanometer (10 Angstroms), hence the term 'nanofiltration.'

Regarding the size and weight of solutes that nanofiltration membranes reject, NF operates in the space betweenreverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF). : Organic molecules with molecular weights greater than 200-400 are effectively rejected. Nanofiltration membranes can efficiently reject a variety of contaminants, including:

  • Dissolved organics,
  • Endotoxins/pyrogens,
  • Insecticides/pesticides,
  • Herbicides,
  • Antibiotics,
  • Nitrates,
  • Sugars,
  • Latex emulsions,
  • Metal ions.

Typical applications of nanofiltration membrane systems include:

  • The removal of color and total organic carbon (TOC) from surface water,
  • The removal of hardness or radium from well water,
  • The overall reduction of total dissolved solids (TDS),
  • and the separation of organic from inorganic matter in specialty food and wastewater applications.

Whatis the difference between Nanofiltration and Loose Reverse Osmosis?
The distinction between nanofiltration and loose reverse osmosis varies based on different perspectives and applications. However, Proshare NF98 series nanofiltration membrane stands out with its exceptional performance, often surpassing mainstream imported brands. It not only meets theDonnan Effect
with high selective rejection of ions (see FIG. 4), but also offers customizable desalination and COD removal performance tailored to your needs. (For the best solution, feel free to consult our senior pre-sales engineers.)
