NF98 Series Nanofiltration Membrane ElementHarness the power of our proprietary multilayer composite membrane featuring nano-level, ultra-thin hydrophilic coating technology. Experience unparalleled anti-fouling performance and enjoy flux rates that are twice as high as leading international brands, all while operating at 50% lower pressure. This innovative solution is designed to replace traditional TFC membranes such as NF270, XC-N, DL, and DK, offering comprehensive performance that stands out.

1. The NF98 membrane boasts a super hydrophilic surface, exceptional anti-fouling capabilities, and an impressively long lifespan.
2. The NF98 delivers a product flux that is typically 30% higher than traditional TFC membranes, with some variants achieving up to twice the flow rate, significantly reducing energy consumption.
3. Achieving over 98% rejection rates of high monovalent salts (such as magnesium sulfate, iron, and heavy metals), while allowing monovalent salts to pass through.
4. Excellent rejection rates of organic compounds including pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, and THM precursors.
 
What is Nanofiltration?

Nanofiltration is a specialized membrane process that rejects dissolved solutes within the approximate size range of 1 nanometer (10 Angstroms)-hence the term 'nanofiltration.'

In terms of the size and weight of solutes that nanofiltration membranes can reject, NF operates in the realm betweenreverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF). Organic molecules with molecular weights greater than 200-400 are efficiently rejected. Nanofiltration membranes can effectively remove numerous contaminants, including:

  • Dissolved organics,
  • Endotoxins/pyrogens,
  • Insecticides/pesticides,
  • Herbicides,
  • Antibiotics,
  • Nitrates,
  • Sugars,
  • Latex emulsions,
  • Metal ions.

Typical applications of nanofiltration membrane systems include:

  • The removal of color and total organic carbon (TOC) from surface water,
  • The removal of hardness or radium from well water,
  • The overall reduction of total dissolved solids (TDS),
  • And the separation of organic from inorganic matter in specialty food and wastewater applications.
