Product Description

Product Description

High Efficiency Water Treatment Filtration System Membrane (NF)

NF98 Series Nanofiltration Membrane ElementUtilizing proprietary multilayer composite membrane technology and a nano-level ultra-thin hydrophilic coating, the NF98 series offers superior anti-fouling performance. With a flux twice as high as international leading brands and operational pressure reduced by at least 50%, it is a versatile solution that can seamlessly replace traditional TFC membranes like NF270, XC-N, DL, DK, and more.

1. The NF98 membrane boasts a super hydrophilic surface, remarkable anti-fouling capabilities, and an extended lifespan.
2. NF98's product flux is typically 30% higher than traditional TFC membranes, with some models achieving up to double the flux, significantly cutting down energy consumption.
3. It maintains a rejection rate exceeding 98% for high monovalent salts such as magnesium sulfate, iron, and heavy metals, while allowing monovalent salts to pass through.
4. The membrane exhibits a high rejection rate for organic compounds including pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, and THM precursors.

What is Nanofiltration?

Nanofiltration is a specialized membrane process designed to reject dissolved solutes approximately sized at 1 nanometer (10 Angstroms), which is why it is termed 'nanofiltration.'

Nanofiltration membranes work effectively in size and weight ranges of solutes that fall betweenreverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF) : Organic molecules with molecular weights exceeding 200-400 are effectively rejected. Among the contaminants nanofiltration membranes can reject are:

  • Dissolved organics.
  • Endotoxins/pyrogens.
  • Insecticides/pesticides.
  • Herbicides.
  • Antibiotics.
  • Nitrates.
  • Sugars.
  • Latex emulsions.
  • Metal ions.

Typical applications of nanofiltration membrane systems include:

  • Removing color and total organic carbon (TOC) from surface water.
  • Eliminating hardness or radium from well water.
  • Reducing total dissolved solids (TDS) comprehensively.
  • Separating organic from inorganic matter in specialty food and wastewater applications.
