NF98 Series Nanofiltration Membrane ElementThe NF98 series features a proprietary multilayer composite membrane with nano-level, ultra-thin hydrophilic coating technology. This advanced engineering delivers exceptional anti-fouling performance while achieving flux rates twice as high as leading international brands, and operating at 50% lower pressure. Its impressive performance allows it to replace traditional TFC membranes like NF270, XC-N, DL, DK, and more.

1. The NF98 membrane boasts a super hydrophilic surface, ensuring outstanding anti-fouling capabilities and prolonged lifespan.
2. The NF98 typically offers 30% higher flux rates than conventional TFC membranes, with certain variants achieving up to double. This significantly reduces energy consumption.
3. Achieves over 98% rejection of high monovalent salts (e.g., magnesium sulfate, iron, heavy metals), while allowing monovalent salts to pass through.
4. Exhibits a high rejection rate for organic compounds such as pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, and THM precursors.
 
Understanding Nanofiltration

Nanofiltration is a specialized membrane process that rejects dissolved solutes approximately 1 nanometer (10 Angstroms) in size, hence the term 'nanofiltration.'

In terms of solute size and weight rejection, nanofiltration operates in the realm betweenreverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF). : It effectively rejects organic molecules with molecular weights over 200 - 400. Nanofiltration membranes can efficiently block contaminants such as:

  • Dissolved organics
  • Endotoxins/pyrogens
  • Insecticides/pesticides
  • Herbicides
  • Antibiotics
  • Nitrates
  • Sugars
  • Latex emulsions

3. The F34 model features a fiberglass-wrapped case with a mesh thickness of 34 mil. Additional shells, meshes, and components are available for customization.
